Magpie Performers was founded in 2016 by a group of Ipswich people looking to create an inclusive, all welcoming drama group for anyone and everyone who loves to be a part of theatre, both on and off stage.
Our starting age for performers is 8 years old, and goes all the way into adulthood, so no matter what age you want to join in the fun, you’ll be welcomed with open arms.
What does ‘Inclusive’ mean?
To Magpie, inclusive means that everyone gets a chance to join in the fun and be welcome into our organisation. We believe being a part of our community shouldn’t rely on things such as financial situation, being able bodied, or where
you come from. At Magpie Performers we do what we can to help everyone who wants to join us be a part of the fun, and take part in the world of theatre.
